Following our Wigmore Hall recital at the end of last year, Johan Dalene and I have enjoyed the start of our Spring tour of European concerts, as part of the ECHO "Rising Stars" series. We had a wonderful day at the Sage in Newcastle last weekend, and looking forward to playing at the Elb Philharmonie in Hamburg and Bozar in Brussels this weekend.

Budapest
We loved being in Budapest at the end of November, and it was my first trip abroad since the pandemic started, so even the airport felt like a special experience!
Lisbon
I'd been wanting to go to Lisbon ever since a cancelled trip in 2010. 12 years later: better late than never! The hall was beautiful, and so was the Pastel de Nata - photo evidence below...
Newcastle
It was great to meet the other "Rising Stars" artists in a musical marathon at the Sage last weekend. My first time in Newcastle, and we enjoyed performing the Janacek Sonata for the first time in an early-morning concourse concert.
